Mr. Mari is a digital marketing research associate, teaching associate, and PhD candidate at the chair for marketing and market research, University of Zurich (UZH). His current focus in his PhD research revolves around the adoption of AI-based voice assistants, such as Amazon Alexa and Google Home, for digital marketing (voice marketing) and their impact on consumers’ shopping behavior (voice commerce).
Throughout his career, he has held significant roles, including a global director of digital marketing and e-commerce at Sonova, brand manager at Procter & Gamble, and CEO of the startup Fennex. Additionally, he has contributed to over ten international coaching projects, providing valuable guidance to executives in tech startups and renowned corporations like GSK, Safilo, and Chalhoub.
He also holds the position of a lecturer in digital marketing and personal branding at UZH and marketing management at SBS. Furthermore, he is frequently invited as a guest speaker to share his expertise on AI for marketing and digital strategy in esteemed business schools such as SDA Bocconi and Säid Business School. An active supporter of the Marketing Group Zurich, he actively contributes to this collaborative research initiative between the UZH and ETH Zurich marketing chairs.
