On Monday, February 22, 2016, students from SBS Swiss Business School’s BBA and MSc program joined a luncheon held by the Belgian-Luxembourg Business Club at the historic Zunfthaus Zur Meisen, in Zurich. The theme of the event was Multi-level policy-making amidst international turbulence, with guest speaker Mr. Johan Van Overtveldt, the Belgian Minister of Finance.
The presentation was very informative and interesting, and touched upon many relevant global and European issues. Participants, including our students, were then able to ask Mr. Van Overtveldt questions on the topics which were covered. After the presentation, our students were able to speak to some of the other attendees, including Dr. Thomas Jordan, the chairman of the governing board of the Swiss National Bank, who kindly answered further questions posed by our students.
All in all, it was a wonderful event and an excellent educational opportunity for our MSc and BBA participants.
