SBS Swiss Business School Hosts Kazakhstan MBA Students for International Learning Week in Zurich

This week, SBS Swiss Business School welcomed MBA students from our partner school, EurAsia Business School in Almaty, Kazakhstan, to our Zurich campus for an international academic experience designed around practical learning, professional exchange, and global exposure.

The visit focused on connecting classroom knowledge with real business practice, exposing students to new perspectives, strengthening cross-cultural understanding, and building professional confidence in an international environment.

Accompanied by Prof. Dr. Nabira Zharkinbayeva and Ms. Olga Maxul, Program Manager, the students joined sessions on International Business Finance, conducted by Mr. Thomas Signer, Faculty Member, and Digital Transformation, conducted by Prof. Dr. Bert Wolfs, Academic Dean. The sessions addressed forward-looking business themes, including global financial decision-making, innovation, organizational change, emerging technologies, and artificial intelligence.

The learning experience was further enriched by guest speaker presentations from SBS alumni Mr. Deva Rajan and Mr. Alexander Gafner, who shared practical industry insights and real-world perspectives on digital transformation and human-centered business change.

By combining academic excellence with personal connection and applied learning, SBS created an experience that helped students feel welcomed, challenged, and inspired. The visit reflected SBS’s focus on future-oriented business education, international collaboration, and practical preparation for the next generation of global leaders.
