Zurich, October 24, 2025 – SBS Swiss Business School reaffirmed its position as a global leader in innovation and applied research by hosting the 13th International Research Conference (SBS-IRC 2025). Centered on the theme “Strategic Leadership and Resilience in a Disruptive World: Rethinking Business Practices in the Age of AI, Geopolitical Tensions, and Sustainability,” the event brought together more than 80 participants from academia and industry across the world.
Chaired by Professor Dr. Miloš Petković, Head of Research at SBS, the conference explored how leaders and organizations can build resilience and adaptability in an era defined by rapid technological advancement and global uncertainty.
In his opening remarks, Professor Dr. Bert Wolfs, Academic Dean of SBS, stressed that “the future of work demands not only technical expertise but also human skills – the ability to lead ethically, build trust, and navigate complexity in an AI-driven world.”
The keynote address by Uroš Mikić, CEO of Flow Ninja Studio, moderated by David Wright, Head of Quality Education at SBS, delved into how artificial intelligence can be leveraged for strategic growth while maintaining a focus on ethics and responsible leadership.
Throughout the day, attendees participated in expert panels and doctoral research presentations on emerging topics such as sustainable leadership, AI-driven business forecasting, and resilience in small and medium enterprises.
