Business Advisory Board
Terms of Reference
The Business Advisory Board (BAB) provides non-binding strategic advice and support to the management of SBS Swiss Business School. The BAB has neither a supervisory role nor decision-making authority. The advisory board serves as a flexible and safe space for the exchange of knowledge.
Mode of Operation
The BAB achieves its goals by convening as a full committee twice a year. If necessary, the Advisory Board may also be invited to ad hoc meetings.
Mission
The members of the BAB are prominent figures from the fields of business, management, and advanced continuing education, as well as other representatives from the community. They aim to support the achievement of SBS’s goals by leveraging their professional networks and experience, as well as their profile, reputation, and influence.
Membership
Members are selected based on their experience and/or recommendations. The advisory board consists of the dean, an elected chairperson, and selected experts. The board should have no more than six (6) members, in addition to the dean. The term of office is four (4) years. Reappointment is possible.
