Dr. Larisa Kryachkova, CPA

Executive Director of Tire Industry Project (TIP)

Larisa is the Executive Director of TIP at WBCSD, having joined in May, 2022. She leads a team of TIP professionals providing strategic directional support to staff, partners and members. 

Prior to joining WBCSD, Larisa had over 25 years’ experience in finance, change management, sustainability with the leading firms in the packaging sector.  She was Director of Strategy and Sustainability with the Ardagh Group, leader in the can packaging sector.  Prior to that she held various executive roles globally with Owens-Illinois, leader in the glass packaging sector. 

Larisa holds a Doctorate degree in Business with the focal research topic in sustainability and value-based pricing from SBS Swiss Business School in Zurich.  She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Ohio, USA.

Larisa was born in the former Soviet Union to a Russian mother and Ukrainian father.  At the age of 20 she moved to the USA where she started her corporate career after having completed her studies in CA. 

Larisa enjoys sports, music and languages.  She speaks Russian, English, Hungarian, French fluently and currently learning Spanish.
