On Friday, 16 October 2026, SBS Swiss Business School was pleased to welcome Christian Doeringer, Global Chief People Officer, management consultant, and entrepreneur, for an engaging guest session on “Emerging Leadership Challenges in Blended AI/Human Workplaces.”
As artificial intelligence continues to reshape the way organizations operate, Christian shared valuable insights into the evolving role of leadership in workplaces where human talent and AI-driven technologies increasingly collaborate. The session explored how leaders can successfully navigate this transformation while fostering innovation, maintaining employee engagement, and building trust in an increasingly digital environment.
Drawing on his extensive international experience in people management and organizational development, Christian highlighted the new competencies leaders must develop to thrive in AI-enabled organizations. Topics included balancing human judgment with data-driven decision-making, managing workforce transformation, addressing ethical considerations, and preparing teams for continuous technological change.
Students had the opportunity to engage in thoughtful discussions about the future of work, the impact of AI on organizational culture, and the importance of maintaining a people-centered approach to leadership. The session provided practical perspectives on how organizations can leverage AI while preserving the creativity, empathy, and critical thinking that remain uniquely human strengths.
