Induction Week 2026: SBS Swiss Business School Welcomes New BSc and MSc Students to Zurich

Last week, SBS Swiss Business School welcomed its new BSc and MSc students to Zurich for Induction Week 2026, marking the beginning of the 2026/2027 academic year. Combining academic orientation, practical workshops, networking, and activities across Zurich, the week helped students prepare for their studies and become part of the SBS community.

From the very first morning, students were welcomed by Prof. Dr. Bert Wolfs, Academic Dean of SBS Swiss Business School, together with faculty and program managers. In his welcome message, Prof. Wolfs encouraged students to look beyond classes and assignments and make the most of the people, perspectives, experiences, and opportunities around them. His message for the year ahead was clear: be curious, think critically, and work hard.

Campus tours and introductory sessions helped students become familiar with their new learning environment, meet classmates, and connect with the faculty and staff who will support them throughout their studies.

Throughout Induction Week 2026, students participated in a variety of interactive workshops, guest speaker sessions, and practical training activities designed to prepare them for the academic year ahead. These experiences encouraged students to exchange perspectives, develop new skills, and begin building relationships within SBS's international learning environment.

Learning also extended beyond the classroom. Students explored Zurich through a guided city tour and boat ride, giving them an opportunity to discover the city while spending time with their new classmates in a more informal setting.

For students beginning their BSc and MSc studies at SBS Swiss Business School, Induction Week is an important first step in adapting to a new academic environment. It provides an opportunity not only to prepare for their studies, but also to meet new people, experience Zurich, and develop a sense of belonging within the SBS community.

The week was filled with learning, exploration, new connections, and memorable moments, setting the tone for the academic year ahead.

We are delighted to welcome our new BSc and MSc students to SBS Swiss Business School and look forward to seeing their experiences, ideas, and ambitions develop throughout the 2026/2027 academic year.
