René Handschin joined SBS Swiss Business School in April 2024.
At SBS he works as Head of Administrative Staff and Student Career Counsellor. Before that he had a successful and remarkable career in the airline and security industry. He went his way from a reservation staff to Station Manager Operation and Airport Services Switzerland within the biggest German Airline. During this time, he enjoyed working abroad from time to time. Subsequently his path led him to a big Swiss Chemistry Group where he was responsible for the department for access, admission, key, badge and parking.
Beside his professional life, he enjoys photography, travelling and alpine skiing. Additionally, he is in the organizing committee of the Basel Tattoo Military Festival. Together with his colleagues he supports the formations during their stay and make feel them comfortable.
René Handschin speaks German, English, French and mainly understands Spanish.
