Prof. Dr. Tatjana Volkova

Prof. Dr. Tatjana Volkova is a Professor of Strategic Management and Innovation Management at the BA School of Business and Finance in Riga and a Vice Chairman of the Higher Education Council of Latvia, Steering Committee Member of the Institutional Evaluation Program (IEP) of the European University Association (EUA) (Belgium), and a member of the Swiss Accreditation Council.
She has been actively involved in delivering accreditation and evaluation services for HEIs on behalf of various accreditation bodies, both nationally and internationally. Tatjana Volkova is a member of Latvia’s Professors Board and a Board member of the Baltic Management Development Association, Head of the Joint Professors’ Council established by the BA School of Business and Finance and the Riga International School of Economics and Business Administration (RISEBA). Tatjana Volkova graduated from the University of Latvia, Faculty of Finance and Trade, and holds a Doctoral degree in Economics from the University of Latvia.
Tatjana Volkova has extensive practical experience in management and consultancy, including serving as Manager of Rotterdam Consult, Ltd., an HR recruiting professional at the Amrop International office in Riga, and a Training Officer at the WOCCU office in Riga. She is a former President of Rector’s Conference of Latvia (2004 – 2011), a former Member of European University Association Council (EUA), Brussels (2004-2011), and a former Rector of BA School of Business and Finance (2004 – 2011) (Latvia). She is currently a member of the Advisory Council for the Ministry of Economy on Labor market issues.
Tatjana is an Expert in Management at the Latvian Council for Science, a member of the Promotion Committee for the doctoral program implemented by the BA School of Business and Finance and Riga International School of Economics and Business Administration (RISEBA), and the Doctoral Council of the University of Latvia. Her research findings have been published in several peer-reviewed journals and books and presented at numerous international conferences.
Tatjana is also a member of the Editorial Committee of Scientific Journals in Latvia and internationally.
