Professor

Professor Madina Kukenova holds a PhD in Economics, a master’s degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Lausanne, an MBA from the Kazakhstan Institute of Management and Strategic Studies and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the Kazakh State University. She has been a CFA since 2002. Professor Madina Kukenova has been working at the Swiss Business School since 2018, where she teaches courses on international economics, finance and trade at undergraduate and graduate programs.

In addition to teaching, Professor Madina Kukenova works as a consultant for international organizations such as the World Bank and the International Trade Center, and participates in independent research projects. Her research interests include finance, economics and international trade. Madina Kukenova is also one of the founders of the association “Together”, which helps Ukrainian refugees.
