Dr. Sanja Arsova

Executive Assistant

Dr. Sanja Arsova is the Executive Assistant to the Dean of Administration and Finance and the Academic Dean at SBS Swiss Business School.

She holds a PhD in Circular Economy Policies from the University of Sheffield Management School, completed as a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Fellow under the EU Horizon 2020 programme – one of the European Union’s most prestigious and competitive research fellowships. Her doctoral research focused on the formulation and implementation of circular economy policies at the regional level in the EU. Sanja also holds a BA (Hons) in Finance and Accounting with Distinction and has been recognized for academic excellence, including multiple awards and distinctions at undergraduate level. 

Sanja has been actively involved in several EU-funded research and innovation projects, including ReTraCe, ProCEedS and REINVEST, collaborating with academic institutions, policymakers and industry stakeholders across Europe. Her work has contributed to policy reports submitted to the European Commission, as well as to evidence-based decision-making in the field of circular economy transitions and regional development policies. 

Prior to her academic career, she gained valuable professional experience at the European Central Bank (ECB) in Frankfurt, where she worked in financial reporting and internal audit, contributing to operational audits, financial statements and Eurosystem-level reporting.

Sanja is the author and co-author of multiple peer-reviewed academic publications and a book chapter on circular economy policy and regional development. She has been presented to her research at numerous international conferences and high-level events, including the World Resources Forum and the Delphi Economic Forum.
