Dr. Joey Pui Ki Chan

Dr. Joey Pui Ki Chan is a senior executive in the retail industry. As Regional Director for Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan at lululemon, she leads market strategy, organizational development, and a purpose-driven, customer-centric business model. She brings extensive experience across luxury fashion, beauty, watches & jewellery, and lifestyle sectors in the Asia-Pacific region, and has held leadership roles with Cartier, Chloé, Giorgio Armani, and Prada.
Dr. Chan’s leadership focuses on embedding sustainability into retail strategy and operations. She champions initiatives that address environmental impact and advance circular approaches, while building high-performing, values-driven organizations that deliver long-term impact.
She holds a Doctor of Business Administration in Sustainability from Swiss Business School, along with a Master of Applied Business Research, a Master of Science in Marketing, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Her research explores sustainability, artificial intelligence, and the preservation of human connection in the fashion industry.
In addition to her executive role, she contributes to industry and academia through advisory positions, including the Hong Kong Trade Development Council Garment Advisory Committee and the Vocational Training Council Retail Trade Training Board.
Her professional and research interests include sustainable retail transformation, responsible leadership, circular business models, and the role of organizations in advancing both economic and societal value.
