Education

Dr. Charles Tawk is a Partner at Meirc Training & Consulting and the author of three books: Scattered Thoughts for Business and Life (ISBN: 978-0-578-33268-0), أفكار وعبر للأعمال والحياة (ISBN: 978-9-9487234-8-6), and The People's Hat, endorsed by the father of modern HR, Professor Dave Ulrich (ISBN: 978-9-9486428-9-3). He holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) and a Master of Applied Business Research from SBS Swiss Business School, a Master of Science in Human Resource Management and Training from the University of Leicester (UK), and a Bachelor of Law from the Lebanese University. Dr. Tawk is a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP®) by the Society for Human Resource Management, a Project Management Professional (PMP®) from the Project Management Institute (PMI), an Associate Certified Coach (ACC™) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF), and a Certified Training Practitioner (CTP™) accredited by the Institute for Performance and Learning. He is also certified in occupational health and safety by NEBOSH (UK) and is a registered organization development consultant (RODC) with the International Society for Organization Development and Change (ISODC). He serves as an advisor on the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council.

Experience

Dr. Tawk brings extensive experience in human resources, industrial and organizational psychology, administrative management, leadership, and law. He began his career as a practicing lawyer with leading law firms before transitioning into corporate advisory roles, where he managed legal affairs, administration, and personnel management. In 2007, Dr. Tawk joined Indevco Group, an international manufacturing group, where he led the human resources function and was later promoted to HR and Administration Manager. He was responsible for designing and implementing HR strategies, driving organizational development, overseeing administration, and ensuring health and safety across the group’s operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Under his leadership, the department was recognized as a benchmark for operational excellence and innovation, both within the group and across the wider industry. Dr. Tawk is an active member of numerous international professional organizations. He serves on the Industry Advisory Boards of the American University in the Emirates, the Abu Dhabi School of Management, and SBS Swiss Business School. He is also President of the Levant and Gulf Chapter of the University of Leicester Alumni and a member of its Alumni Association Committee. He has been featured in various regional and international media outlets and regularly contributes to executive panels, TV programs, podcasts, academic research, and business and academic conferences.
