Dr. Anchal Pathak is an internationally recognised management scholar and academic leader with over eleven years of experience in higher education, research, and institutional governance across the United Arab Emirates, India, and Ethiopia. Currently serving as Associate Professor and Head of Faculty at SBS Swiss Business School, Ras Al Khaimah (UAE), she integrates rigorous scholarship in human resource management, organisational behaviour, and AI-driven management research with strategic academic leadership.

Dr. Pathak holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Management from the Faculty of Management Studies, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi — one of India's most prestigious central universities — where she was awarded a Doctoral Fellowship for research excellence. Her doctoral dissertation examined the impact of employee participation on job involvement and job satisfaction in the Indian banking sector. She completed her MBA in Human Resource Management and Finance with First Class Distinction (80%), graduating as College Topper and ranking among the top ten at Anna University, Chennai. As an undergraduate, she was conferred a Gold Medal by the Union Minister for Human Resource Development for securing the highest academic distinction.

Her research spans human resource management, organisational behaviour, leadership, employee engagement, and the application of machine learning and artificial intelligence in management sciences. She has published in leading peer-reviewed and Scopus-indexed international journals including Environment, Development and Sustainability (Springer), Benchmarking: An International Journal (Emerald, ABDC-B), and the International Journal of Services and Operations Management (Inderscience), and has contributed book chapters to Routledge, Springer Singapore, and IGI Global. She holds multiple granted German Utility Patents and published Indian patents in machine learning systems, HR analytics, and IoT-based management applications.

Prior to her current role, Dr. Pathak held faculty and leadership positions at the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun; Bule Hora University, Ethiopia; Doon Business School; IMS Unison University; and the School of Management Sciences, Varanasi. She has served as an External PhD Examiner and actively mentors doctoral and postgraduate research across disciplines. She is a recipient of the Best Faculty Award (Uttarakhand) by Saksham Society, Jaipur, the Best Paper Award (2018), and was ranked India Topper (89%) in Principles of Human Resource Management under the NPTEL–IIT Kharagpur programme. She is a Certified Trainer (Grade B) with the National Skill Development Corporation of India (NSDC).
