SBS Swiss Business School is pleased to announce the SBS AI Conference 2026, AI & The Human Edge: From Hype to Strategy, taking place on Wednesday, November 25, 2026, at the SBS campus in Zurich.
Building on the success of last year's conference, which brought together global thought leaders to discuss human-centric artificial intelligence, the 2026 edition introduces a new, highly interactive format designed to move beyond the hype and focus on the practical application of AI in business.
The conference will bring together students, faculty, business professionals, entrepreneurs, and invited guests for a full day of collaboration, practical learning, and meaningful discussions about how artificial intelligence is transforming organizations, leadership, and the future of work.
A Different Kind of AI Conference
Rather than spending the day listening to presentations, participants will actively engage in discussions, workshops, collaborative problem-solving, and networking.
The conference has been designed around one guiding principle:
Less Passive Listening. More Active Participation.
Participants will work together to analyze business cases, experiment with AI tools, solve real-world business challenges, exchange ideas, and learn from faculty, industry experts, and one another.
Program Overview
Track assignments (A/B/C) are fixed for the day — the same group stays with the same facilitator across all three breakout rounds
Interactive Learning Sessions
Throughout the day, participants will choose from a range of practical breakout sessions covering topics such as:
Breakout Round 1 — Deep Dives (3 parallel tracks)
Facilitator-led discussions built around real industry cases, exploring practical challenges at the intersection of AI and business.Breakout Round 2 — Workshop Sprints (3 parallel tracks)
Hands-on sessions where each track puts AI tools to work, tackling a concrete business problem connected to the case explored in Round 1.- Breakout Round 3 — Presentation & Feedback (3 parallel tracks)
Each group finalizes its solution and presents it to its facilitator, closing the loop with direct, practical feedback on their work.
Working in small groups, participants will present real business, startup, internship, or academic challenges and collaborate to develop practical AI-enabled solutions while strengthening leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills.
