SBS Swiss Business School Congratulates University of Latvia FinTech Business School on Its New Name

SBS Swiss Business School congratulates its longstanding educational partner, BA School of Business and Finance, on its new name: University of Latvia FinTech Business School (UL FTBS).

Founded in 1992 under the Bank of Latvia, the Riga-based institution has developed into a recognized institution in Latvia for business and finance education, with a strong national and international outlook.

Today, University of Latvia FinTech Business School offers undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate programs across business administration, finance, economics, and entrepreneurship. Its development reflects the changing needs of business and the financial sector, including the growing importance of financial technology (fintech), innovation, and internationally oriented business education.

SBS Swiss Business School values its longstanding academic partnership with University of Latvia FinTech Business School. The cooperation between the two institutions dates back to 2007, when a joint double-degree master's program was established. Over the years, this partnership has supported international education, academic exchange, and opportunities for students to gain broader perspectives in an increasingly global business environment.

The new University of Latvia FinTech Business School name marks an important chapter in the institution's continued development and reflects its evolving position in business, finance, and fintech education.
