The Master of Science (MSc) in Artificial Intelligence for Business at SBS Swiss Business School offers a comprehensive, career-focused curriculum designed for business professionals who want to apply artificial intelligence strategically across organizations.
Throughout the program, students explore how AI is transforming business functions, including digital transformation, data-driven decision-making, customer experience, innovation, and new business models. The curriculum also addresses the ethical, legal, and governance aspects of AI, helping students understand how to implement AI responsibly.
No coding or engineering background is required. The program focuses on the strategic and practical application of AI in business rather than technical AI development.
This 100% online, 1.5-year program (90 ECTS) combines academic rigor with practical, real-world applications, preparing graduates to make informed decisions, drive innovation, and lead AI-driven business transformation.
Program Structure
The curriculum is organized into four terms:
- Terms 1–3: Twelve courses worth 5 ECTS each, totaling 60 ECTS.
- Term 4: Master's thesis worth 30 ECTS.
Total: 90 ECTS credits.

Admissions Requirements:
- Successful completion of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized educational institution.
- English Proficiency for non-native speakers
- Successful completion of the admissions interview
- SBS admissions exam (when applicable)
- Work Experience: No prior experience required, but considered valuable.
Notes:
- Applicants who do not meet the Bachelor Admission Criteria will be reviewed by the SBS Admissions Team.
- Applicants who do not have a Bachelor’s degree in the related field will be asked to successfully complete the SBS Massive Open Online Courses (so-called LEVEL UP exam) prior to entering one of the SBS Master programs.
Required documentation for Master Programs:
- Copy of Bachelor’s degree (transcript and diploma)
- Copy of the official Bachelor transcripts (grade sheet)
- Complete CV and work certificates indicating professional experiences and responsibilities
- English proficiency unless previous education was conducted in English
- TOEFL IBT 90, IELTS 6.5, Duolingo B2 or equivalent
- One reference letter (professional or academic)
- Front-facing photograph, high quality in jpg/png/gif format
- Copy of passport or ID
- Application fee of CHF 150.- (PayPal to account [email protected] or via bank transfer)
Tuition fees at SBS Swiss Business School may be paid in full or through installments, according to the Online MSc payment schedule.
Tuition fees include teaching materials and examinations.
We offer a 5% tuition fee reduction on full payment at the start of the program.
