Dr. Victor Frimpong

Adjunct Faculty and Member of the Research Advisory Board

Dr. Victor Frimpong is originally from Kumasi, Ghana, and resides in Switzerland. Despite his international experience, he remains closely connected to his home country through his involvement in various business and investment consulting initiatives. His doctoral research investigated the impact of unconscious biases on leadership within Ghana’s financial sector, highlighting the importance of understanding these psychological factors in fostering effective leadership practices.

With over twenty years of expertise, Dr. Frimpong specializes in compliance and regulatory frameworks within private banking and wealth management. He is an ACAMS-certified Global Sanctions Specialist with multiple qualifications for financial crime and anti-money laundering. His extensive career includes senior positions at notable financial institutions, such as Investec, HBZ AG Zurich, Bank Leumi, Goldman Sachs, and Barclays Wealth, where he has overseen impactful projects and led diverse executive teams. He is also recognized as a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute in the UK.

Dr. Frimpong holds a Doctorate in Business Administration and a Master’s in Applied Business Research from SBS Swiss Business School. He has also attained an MBA from Henley Business School and an undergraduate Diploma in Management from the Open University Business School in the UK. In addition to his impressive academic credentials, he serves as a faculty member at SBS Swiss Business School and contributes to the Research Advisory Board.
