Dr. Bill N. Schwartz (PhD, CPA) earned his doctorate at The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a concentration in accounting. He currently is Distinguished Affiliate Professor of Accounting in the Wesley J. Howe School of Technology Management at Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken, New Jersey USA. He has served on the faculties at Virginia Commonwealth University, Temple University, Arizona State University and California State University, Northridge. He was Dean of the School of Business at Indiana University-South Bend, Accounting Department Chair at Virginia Commonwealth University, and School of Business PhD Director at Temple University. He has been editor in chief or co-editor for the following academic journals, Advances in Accounting Education, Research on Accounting Ethics, and Advances in Accounting. He also was Chair for the Teaching and Curriculum Section of the American Accounting Association. He has published over 50 articles in academic and professional journals and numerous presentations at academic and professional meetings. He was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois USA.
