SBS Swiss Business School is proud to highlight an impactful project supported voluntarily by Dr. Wolfs and his esteemed colleague Dr. Mathias Mondo, aimed at empowering the youth and women of Cameroon.
The initiative, the Youth and Women Employment and Empowerment Project (YWEEP), is in collaboration with PwC Afrique Francophone SubSaharienne and the UNDP (United Nations Development Programme), which is associated with the project under the initiative code UNDP-CMR-00360. This partnership underscores the significance of supporting economic development in Cameroon.
The primary beneficiaries of this initiative are local entrepreneurs and community members—specifically young individuals and women leading micro, small, and medium enterprises (MPMEs) in Cameroon—who receive support to foster their businesses.
Through this voluntary project, Dr. Wolfs and Dr. Mondo provide invaluable support and consultation to help launch start-ups that can transform lives and communities.
This initiative embodies SBS Swiss Business School’s commitment to social responsibility and community development. By fostering entrepreneurship among the youth and women of Cameroon, Dr. Wolfs and Dr. Mondo are paving the way for a brighter, more inclusive future.
The culmination of this collaboration is the publication of Accompagnement des MPME dirigées par des jeunes et des femmes en vue de développer des chaînes de valeur inclusives dans l’agroalimentaire et l’économie verte (UNDP-CMR-00360), released in October 2024. The publication is directed by Dr. Mathias Mondo and Christian Ulrich Sonfack, with a preface by Ghislaine Djapouop and a postface by Dr. Bert Wolfs.
