Last week, SBS Swiss Business School had the privilege of hosting ten esteemed student counselors from prestigious international schools across the globe. Representing countries as diverse as Australia, Vietnam, Monaco, Spain, Italy, Germany, Canada, and Dubai, these professionals embarked on a rewarding journey to discover more about SBS Swiss Business School and its offerings.
The day began with a campus tour led by Ms. Nadja Ergina, our Student Recruitment Manager, who provided a detailed overview of SBS’s cutting-edge facilities and vibrant academic environment. The counselors then participated in an informative workshop about SBS’s admissions requirements for the Bachelor of Science (BSc) program, gaining valuable insights to share with prospective students.
A highlight of the day was the workshop on Artificial Intelligence, led by Prof. Dr. Michael Gerlich, a renowned AI expert. Prof. Dr. Gerlich, who has been a speaker at international conferences in various Swiss cities, as well as in Tokyo, Brussels, Lisbon, Vienna, and beyond, shared his insights on the transformative role of AI in education and business. The session sparked engaging discussions and provided the counselors with fresh perspectives on the future of learning and technology.
In the afternoon, the group explored Zurich with a guided city tour, experiencing the city’s rich culture, stunning architecture, and high quality of life—key aspects for students considering SBS Swiss Business School as their study destination. This immersion allowed counselors to better understand Zurich’s appeal and convey that experience to their students and families.
The day wrapped up with a traditional Swiss fondue dinner, offering the counselors a chance to relax, network, and reflect on the insights gained throughout the day. It was a perfect opportunity for building connections in a welcoming and informal setting.
The event was a tremendous success, strengthening relationships and enriching the counselors’ understanding of SBS Swiss Business School’s commitment to academic excellence and cultural integration. These professionals are now better equipped to guide their students toward a future shaped by world-class education in Switzerland.
