This course will provide students with the opportunity to practice their knowledge in a simulated environment, through the utilization of real-world cases. This class will involve discussions of a myriad of cases in primarily the marketing and sales environment.
Knowledge: The main objectives of the course are to strengthen students’ analysis of leadership, business strategy and firm performance, and to equip them with effective problem solving skills and experience through case study preparation and discussion. A further objective is to help students strengthen the conceptual, technical and interpersonal skills that managers need to communicate effectively in the business world.
Students will also gain a richer understanding of the challenges and excitement of working within an organizational environment.
Application: through case studies we will be able to witness life-like situations (case studies) confronting modern management.
