Dr. Hod Anyigba

Professor

Dr. Hod Anyigba is an Assistant Professor of Economics and Entrepreneurship at SBS Swiss Business School and Nobel International Business School (NiBS). He holds a PhD in economics from St. Petersburg University of Management and Economics, a Master of Science (MSc.) in International Economics from St. Petersburg University of Economics and Finance and a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) in Economics from the same university. Prior to joining SBS he was Assistant Professor at the Institute of International programs (Department of International finance and accounting) at St. Petersburg University of management and economics.

Dr. Anyigba’s research focuses on entrepreneurial economics, in particular, entrepreneurial finance, entrepreneurship education, self-efficacy & intent, entrepreneurship policy, and sustainable entrepreneurship in developing countries. Other research interests include, but not limited to economic growth – economic globalization impact on SME’s, competitiveness, GDP, economic inequality and International Trade & Finance – FDI, political risks.

Other research and consultancy interests are in the areas of business management, strategy, leadership, and innovation. He has invaluable academic and industry experience both from Europe and Africa.  Till date, Hod is the only African to have completed his doctoral studies at the prestigious St. Petersburg University of Management and Economics. He is a fellow at the Chattered Institute of Economists, Ghana. He has done consultancy work for both national and global organizations.
