The "720 Leadership CHALLENGE" is a unique leadership development program:
![]() Change – Today’s Challenge for LeadersThe rising pressure resulting from global competition and the constant and increasingly rapid pace of change in all areas of life place enormous demands on today’s corporate managers. As well as initiating positive change processes at exactly the right time, a flexible response to new developments is required. As business conditions get tougher, managers need to apply these concepts to themselves as well. Handling ongoing change successfully is becoming a core competence that is critical for success. And that includes managers’ personal ability to change and develop. Genuine and credible leadership means managers need to set a good example by doing what they expect of others. Invest now in your own success: enhance your leadership skills and set an example for others. That will pay dividends – for you and your company. "The proof of the pudding is in the eating … "
To secure your future success and further your career, you have to move from being a manager to being a leader by proving genuine leadership. That is not something you can achieve through courses, theory and business games. What you need is to prove yourself in the ongoing challenges facing you in your day-to-day work. That is where our innovative "720 Leadership CHALLENGE" program provides unique and effective support. You review and make the most of your leadership potential through a controlled and selective process anchored directly in your working environment. The idea is to maximise the effect of your times and effort by concentrating on those areas that really matter. Your success as a leader is therefore not simply the key to personal advancement. It also brings immediate and measurable benefits for your company. Through exemplary leadership you will increase your impact, take superior measures and achieve a positive multiplier effect throughout your area of responsibility. Creating Leadership ImpactTaking stock is the first step towards a targeted and effective improvement in your leadership skills. Which of your strengths enable you to achieve the best results? Where will improvement provide the most valuable support? Who is better placed to assess the impact of your present leadership practice than those who experience it every day and are directly affected by your decisions, actions and conduct? In other words, your direct reports, immediate colleagues and line managers?

Self-Guidance |
Stakeholder Feedback |
|
The "720 Leadership CHALLENGE" is designed for highly motivated managers who are used to taking the initiative and keen to drive their personal development. If you are used to initiating and controlling processes, you will want to be in control of your own learning process. Our concept is based on this motivation and self-guidance capability. You are responsible for deciding which leadership competences you wish to focus on. You determine the intensity of the programme, the optimum starting point and your personal objectives. |
To set the right priorities for development you need to know where you stand and define clear goals. The first ”Task Cycle Survey” provides the basis for both of these steps. It shows how the people you work with perceive key aspects of your leadership practice which are important for your success and how this affects your results. At the same time, it provides statistical benchmarks, a key reference base for your personal objectives and action plan. The second “Task Cycle Survey” at the end of the programme checks what you have achieved. Your success is therefore measurable. |
Appreciative Coaching |
Best Practices Exchange |
|
Positive change can only be achieved if you are convinced of its benefits and build on your strengths. Using the principles of appreciative coaching, you and your coach jointly identify the factors behind your past and present success. You then transfer this insight to the areas defined as priorities for development on the basis of the “Task Cycle Survey”. Your experienced coach provides professional advice throughout your personal change process to ensure success in conjunction with you. |
Convincing values, individual strengths, effective action and exceptional success are not merely found within ourselves. We can also benefit from the experience of others. Every three months you will therefore meet up with other committed managers who are going through a similar change process. Your coach coordinates these meetings and provides relevant input from the domains of science and practice. |
Program Providers
The "720 Leadership CHALLENGE" is offered jointly by Swiss Business School (SBS) and CrossCult Consulting (CCC), which is licensed to use the "Task Cycle Survey" feedback tool. Three special qualities are therefore combined to form a unique leadership development program:
SBS Swiss Business School is a fully accredited and pioneering institution committed to fostering leadership excellence in a multinational environment. It is recognised for its innovative educational contributions to promote business and for its accomplished and dedicated faculty.
Your coach, Dr. Heinrich Furrer, founder and owner of CCC CrossCult Consulting, is an independent consultant and member of the SBS faculty. He has a broad range of consulting, training and coaching experience at all management levels in various business sectors such as insurance, banking, pharmaceutics, chemical, energy, electronics, manufacturing, mechanical engineering, trade, printing and publishing, public administration, healthcare services, education and non-profit organisations, in Switzerland and internationally (Europe, USA, Asia, Africa).
Task Cycle Survey
Clark Wilson‘s "Task Cycle Surveys" are proven multi-rater (“360°”-) feedback instruments. Since 1973 the “Task Cycle”-model with its well established six core phases - based on over 1 million cases - has evolved into a valid and reliable guide to leadership excellence. The “pre-post”- concept of the "720 Leadership CHALLENGE" (2 x 360 feedback) significantly increases the impact of this powerful tool. Tracking progress over time is a best practice common to high-performing leaders.
Ready for the Challenge?
Take the initiative and benefit from the powerful synergies of the "720 Leadership CHALLENGE", the exclusive combination of four proven pillars of leadership development:
- Self-Guidance
- Stakeholder Feedback
- Appreciative Coaching
- Best Practices Exchange
A first survey focuses on your present leadership practice so that you can concentrate your energy on the mission-critical success factors for your leadership role and immediately start a process of relevant positive change.
Using the established Task Cycle Survey methodology,
- five action-focused evening workshops (Kick-off, Action Planning, 2 Best Practices, ROI) and
- three individually arranged personal coaching sessions within a year
pave the way for a marked improvement in your effectiveness as a leader.
The second feedback survey at the end of the process measures the impact of successful completion of your "720 Leadership CHALLENGE" and documents the significant ROI for you and your company.
